Grandtrek PT 8000 is an Original Equipment (OE) high performance summer tyre. It is specially developed for new cars and light trucks. It gives good traction on wet and dry surfaces. However, it is not suitable to be driven on snow. The refined tread design gives excellent wet and dry surface handling. Their extreme directional tread pattern gives them a radical look and good aquaplaning resistance. The silica tread compound enhances braking and wet surface handling. The larger outer tread blocks and open shoulder grooves give good responsiveness and stable cornering. The hard rubber bead apex gives better handling and steering response. It has Max Flange Shield Marking which minimizes the damages to the wheel.
