Michelin Power Race is a first street legal, dual-compound performance tyre. The advanced carcass construction of this tyre is equipped with two angled polyester piles and zero degree aramid belts to provide enhanced durability and solidity. The tread compound, construction and technology of this tyre are inspired from MotoGP tyres. The tyre is designed with semi-slick tread pattern to maximise the contact area and increase stability. The tread grooves are highly capable of evacuating water from the contact patch under wet conditions. Two different tyre compounds are used in the shoulders and the centre of the tyre to suit its performance requirement. The centre tread compound helps the tyre to withstand pressure during rapid acceleration and hard braking while the shoulder compound assures amazing grip at full lean angles and during cornering.
