The company has taken on more staff and is shaping up for a turnover of 10 million euros in 2006. Created by a young man from Lyon, it has a network of 600 centres in France (...).

"I used to be an amateur racing driver and wanted to buy my tyres cheaper," he explains. The company's head office is in Geneva, where the Lyon-born Nerguisian now lives, but most of the team works in the French subsidiary created in 2003 and based at Dardilly, in the western suburbs of Lyon.
This entity "should become the hub for Europe," says the 34-year old director. "Pneus-online already has customers in Luxembourg, Belgium and the UK, and we're looking to get going in Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Italy in the near future. (...).
He attributes his success to competitive prices: "30% to 50% less than what's on offer in the usual circuits. In its November issue, Automobile Magazine put us at number one out of a selection of three references," he says. (...).
The company already offers a wide choice of types for all types of vehicle (tourism, utility, 4x4) as well as for scooters and motorcycles, and is now set to widen its range with puncture-proof cycle tyres and maintenance products (...).
