First tyres, now Pneus-Online is marketing car and bike care products as well. Everything you need to pamper your car, without even having to go out.

Since 2003, pneus-online.fr, a subsidiary of pneus-online Switzerland created in 2001 in Geneva, has been marketing a large range of tyres for cars and bikes over the Internet. With over 200,000 tyres in stock, the site receives no less than 300,000 visitors per month. On the strength of positive results and constant growth, English, Austrian, German and Spanish versions of the site have also gone on line over the past two years.

What’s the secret of pneus-online’s success? Their site is easy to use and informative. All you have to do is enter the size of your wheels or the make and model of your car, and the site brings up a list of compatible tyres. For each tyre listed, there is a detailed file showing the tyre’s characteristics which sometimes even includes marks on relevant criteria such as wear, efficiency, noise, etc. It’s just a shame that these marks are only available for the tyres from the best know manufacturers.

However, pneus-online also provides technical advice files. These enable you to read tyre markings, learn how to run new tyres in and keep you up to speed with the latest regulations in force. In short, they provide loads of useful information. Then when you’ve made your choice, you can have the tyres delivered directly to a partner fitting centre who will take care of fitting there and then.
