Pneus-Online.fr is offering tyre insurance to its customers. The scheme covers punctures, bulging and even vandalism. Cover lasts for two years and only costs €5 per tyre. The first twelve months, which would normally cost €10, are free of charge. Depreciation is, however, taken into account at the rate of 25% for the first year and 50% for the second. Fitting is not covered. The service is similar to Michelin's (free) OnWay scheme (...), but only covers own-brand tyres.
